Born May 8th 1933, in Trinidad, Colo. JoAnn was an exceptional woman, who has left an incredible legacy. Her treasures were few on this earth, but vast in the Kingdom, as she was an amazing example of God’s love to all who knew her. Excitedly, she anticipated talking to her children and her children’s children. Thrilled each time God answered one of her prayers or gave her an opportunity to share the Gospel, she expressed how much joy each conversation had brought to her. She quietly prepared multiple Bibles with tabs, simple highlights, and dedications to give to others. She was a dedicated member of Praise Assembly for over 30 years, where she loved to sing with the choir, attend Bible studies, retreats, functions, listen to each sermon, and lovingly paint faces for each celebration. Whether sketching, painting or coloring, she was always working on an art project, including 100s of hand drawn cards. She especially enjoyed telling stories of times past, traveling with her family and friends, and spending time with God. Beautifully, she wrote poems, letters, and prayers to God, family and friends. She adored her family and took every chance she got to share about all her blessings. Celebration service, 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 12th, 2021, (viewing prior to service starting) at Praise Assembly of God, 2000 Troy Avenue. Interment at Imperial Memorial Gardens following the reception. Online condolences, www.MontgomerySteward.com
