Joann Massarotti, 70, passed away: July 6, 2020. Survived by her husband, Joe; son, Joe Q. and daughter-in-law, Shannon, grandchildren, Ella & Mason, all of Parker, CO; daughter, Alberta, son-in-law, David Gaskill of Bloomingdale, NJ., Fur doggy grandsons, Max, Frankie, and Rocky. Sisters: Rose Prado (Pueblo, CO), Dottie Casper (Las Vegas, NV), & Juanita Traylor (New Market, MD). Brothers: Anthony Sanchez (Pueblo, CO), Manny (Sherri) Sanchez (Vista, CA). Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and numerous close friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Juan & Emma Sanchez; sister, Katherine Sanchez; brothers, Thomas, Richard, Donald, and Michael Sanchez; sister-in-law, Roseann Massarotti.
Joann was born December 8, 1949, in Pueblo, CO. After working as a cosmetologist for 32 years, Joann chose a 2nd career in the hospitality industry working at The Marriott, Villa Pueblo, and School Dist. 60. She still styled hair on the side for her special clients. Along with spending time with her son, daughter and grandchildren, she loved to watch Ella & Mason (her grandchildren) play sports, listening to music, dancing, shopping, doing word search, watching Hallmark movies, dressing up for Halloween/theme days, traveling to visit family across the US, and being the social butterfly she was, she loved going out to dinner with her special friends and just spending time/visiting with her friends.

Inurnment Service at Roselawn Cemetery following the Mass

Reception:  5:00PM to 9:00PM at River’s Edge Banquet Hall.  102 Oneida St., Pueblo CO
