Dear JoAnn,
As I write this last note to you, I want both of us to be thankful for all the friends we have who have made our lives so wonderful. You were born in Pueblo, Colo. on Mar. 19, 1933, to parents, Grady and Margaret (Hawkins) Judy. They have preceded your death. Our daughter, June (James Wilson, dec.) Bertholf-Wilson of Albuquerque, N.M. and grandchildren, Jonathan (Sammi Portillo) Ortiz and Jenna (Michael) McNeil both of Denver, Colo. will miss you as a friend, mentor and loving grandmother. Daughter, Dr. Judy Bertholf, precedes you in death. For many years you have had the opportunity to work and share in the Pueblo community. Your love of animals was super for all. Travel was special for us, as we enjoyed new friends and history of so many places and cultures. I (we) will miss having you with us but now you can rest in peace.
Love forever, John
P.S. Thanks for being such an inspiration for me and Jonathan and Jenna. You showed us how to live a full life. We could not have had a better role model.
Love always, June
Family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Online condolences, www.montgomerysteward.com

John and family,
I am deeply sorry to hear about JoAnn. She was a delight and I know you will miss her. However, she is now making heaven a bit brighter. I know services are pending but will watch paper and if I can attend I will. It will depend on my work schedule.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Carla Howard, NP
