Joan E. Greenwood, 86, passed away Nov. 8, 2019. Survived by her husband of 70 years, Thomas R. Greenwood Jr.; son, Daniel Joe Greenwood of Pueblo; grandchildren, Thomas R. Greenwood IV, David Joe Greenwood, Jeffrey Scott Greenwood and Gregory Daniel Greenwood; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert “Bob” (Audrey) Crofford of Canon City. Preceded in death by her sons, Edward Dean Greenwood and Thomas R. Greenwood III and siblings, William “Bill” Turner and Shirley (Gene) Weaver. Joan was born to Cecil and Grace Crofford on June 28, 1933, in Monte Vista, Colo. She was a loving homemaker, mother and wife. Joan was a precious jewel! We are particularly saddened after receiving the notice of Aunt Joan’s passing. She always greeted us with a welcoming smile and an extended show of hospitality, both while we were living in Pueblo (where we saw her often) and after we relocated to the northwest and visiting her less frequently due to distance. Our well wishes are extended to all of her family, and especially Uncle Tom. She will be sorely missed.
