Photo- Jess L. Viles, 90, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away October 30, 2006. Survived by his loving wife, Helen O. (Stroh) Viles of the family home; children, Marilyn (Cecil) Barrett and Roamey (Colleen) Viles, both of Pueblo; daughter-in-law, Rita Viles of Denver; grandchildren, Teri Niederstadt, of Pueblo, Debbie (Dave Hickox) Viles of Broomfield, Randy (Kim) Viles, Ron (Deanna) Viles, Russ (Michele) Viles all of Denver, Rick (Tammy) Viles of Rifle, Eileen (Rob Boyd) Brown of Maryland; great grandchildren, Jeff (Renee) and Chris of Pueblo, Travis, Abbi and Katie of Denver, Brenton, Brittney and Skyler of Denver, McKayla and Mikka of Rifle, Mark of Broomfield, Macie and Sierra of Maryland; great-great grandchildren, J.J., Jeffy, Brian and Joe of Pueblo; sisters-in-law, Billie (Bennie) Denton of Georgia and Mary E. Williams of Colorado Springs; good friend, Jim Oliver of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his son, Lawrence (Butch) Viles; grandson, Lonny Barrett; brothers, Lloyd and Alfred; and sisters, Georgia Darcy and Mamie Wilcutt. Jess was born on April 1, 1916, in Manzanola, Colo. He retired in 1978 from CF&I as a general foreman of the Coke Plant after 42 years of service. He was also a life member of the Florence Elks Lodge. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the Reverend George White officiating.
