Jerry G. King, 65, passed away Dec. 15, 2007. Survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol King; children, Sandra (Joel) Holt of Camden, Ark., James (Leslie) King of Keller, Texas and Karen (Tony) Burks of Denver; sister, Betty Jo King of Colorado Springs; and grandchildren, Caroline Holt, Josephine Holt, Xavier Burks, Isaac Holt and Isabelle Holt. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth King; and brothers, William James King and Larry Lee King. Jerry was born Aug. 21, 1942, in Calhan, Colo. He served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Era. Jerry was the Chief Financial Officer for Robert Hoag Rawlings Public Library. He enjoyed coin collecting, gardening and woodworking. Jerry, along with his wife, were actively involved with the Pueblo Symphony. He was also past president of Rosemount Museum. As per his request, there will be no viewing. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Pastor Mark Crates officiating. Military honors by Pueblo Veterans' Ritual Team and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.   22. I am sorry for your loss Jerry had been my boss and friend for several years at the Library. I learned alot from him, which kept me working at the Library as long as I did. We talk alot about coins, rifles, construction and bugeting. I will sadly miss him.
