Jennifer Thomas Roberts, 70, of Pueblo West, Colo. passed away November 11, 2021, at her son’s home, surrounded by family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Jenny was born November 27, 1950, in Oak Hill, WV, the youngest of six children of Frank C. Thomas and Garnet Merritt Thomas. Jenny attended Collins High School, Beckley College, Concord University, and WV University. Her degree in business encouraged her to manage a large WAWA, work in the food industry. She completed her courses in cosmetology, but due to severe allergies was unable to use this training. She did however have many people appreciate her hair styling abilities during high school and college. She also served as Police Commissioner in Rosendale, NY. She considered her greatest accomplishments as a wife and a mother. Jenny was a huge football fan and always supported the University of West Virginia Mountaineers and the Pittsburg Steelers. She loved watching her children and grandchildren playing sports and attended their games whenever possible. She loved being near the ocean, eating fresh seafood, trips to Maine and was always quite adventuresome. She was an exceptional baker and always had requests for her yeast rolls and jellies. Her bucket list included experiencing the Aurora Borealis and to play harmonica with Willie Nelson, unfortunately Jenny ran out of time and energy. Jenny had a very unique sense of humor, a very kind heart, and loved country and her family dearly. She will be remember for her deep faith and truly missed by all those she touched. She is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Garnet Thomas, her sisters: Martha Thomas Smith, and Mary Elizabeth Berry, her brothers: John James and Frank C. Thomas, Jr. , as well as her beloved granddaughter, Savannah Foster. She also lost her best friend and beloved husband Marvin Roberts on October 14, 2021. Jennifer is survived by her son Zachery Thomas, daughter-in-law, Lisa Thomas, her daughter Autumn Pate and son-in-law Bradley Pate, her sister-in-law Betty James and her sister, Sharon (Susie) Borowski and brother-in-law Don Borowski. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
