Jeffry Dorenkamp, 71, passed away May 3, 2023. Survived by his wife, Jackie Dorenkamp; children, Alexa (Mark) Medrano and Jim (Renate) Dorenkamp; grandchildren, Kain Medrano, Harlie Medrano and Paysen Cutler; mother, Norma Dorenkamp; sister-in-law, Debra Dorenkamp; siblings, Sheryl (David) Vagher, John (Janell) Dorenkamp, Jerry (Nancy) Dorenkamp, Ben Dorenkamp, Casey (Jo) Dorenkamp, Scott (Nicole) Dorenkamp and Mary Lou (Sam) George; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Fred Dorenkamp; brother, Joe Dorenkamp; nephew, Wyatt Dorenkamp; and father and mother-in-law, Gus and Jean Webb.
Jeff was born March 14, 1952, in Lamar, Colo. He was a cowboy, a rancher and a professional rodeo judge. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Viewing, 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, followed by the Rosary at 6 p.m. in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Funeral Mass, 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1145 S. Aspen Rd.     So very sorry to learn of your father’s passing. Although I did not know him, my thoughts and prayers and with you all as this difficult time.

  2. My heart felt condolences to all the Dorenkamp family. I remember Jeff back in the day as a hard worker at all of the rodeos but he always made time to chat and fill me in on what horse I had drawn. God Bless you my dear friend.

  3. Jeff was a great man, loving, fun and funny, a terrific husband, father and grandfather. He will be very missed by all who loved him and knew him. Rest in peace Jeff. You have earned it.
