Jeanne joined the angels on June 21, 2023, the summer solstice and the day with the most sunlight.  She now shines down on us.

  1. CandleImageTo the Hustead family. I worked at Husteads back in the 70s. I went to the Hustead family home when I was interviewing for a position. I was greeted at the door by Jeanne. She had a smile on her face. She was always so kind. Don and her would offer me the shirts off their backs. Good people!!!! Had so much fun working at Hustead. Was treated as family. Always appreciated Jeanne, Don, Diane Debbie and Dawnie. God bless. Jon Kissinger

  2. Hustead Family –
I have the privilege of meeting & knowing Ms Hustead back in 2013, when my husband & I purchased the house next door to them. Jeanne was a beautiful soul, who was full of life & kindness and also a wonderful neighbor who was always so good to us. My husband & I eventually sold that home & moved away but we never forgot the Husteads (as they were such lovely, wonderful people). We were heartbroken to read about her passing so we wanted to sign the guestbook and share our memories of her. May she rest in peace, as her beautiful soul is now with the angels.

  3. To the Hustead Family,
I worked at Hustead’s 4th Street Arapaho grocery store about 1970. Lots of fun and great folks. Jeanne was great to be around and helpful to the rookie that I was! Rest in peace and all the family — take care of one another. dt

  4. I am one of Jeanne’s nieces. I can still picture Aunt Jeanne waterskiing at the Pit. I can hear her voice as if it was yesterday. Many great memories of the J,D, Di, De, Daw and summer vacations at Beulah. My deepest sympathy to you all.

  5. I was a friend of Jeanne’s when we lived in Pueblo and belonged to First Congregational Church. She was a warm, loving lady and I am sure that she will be missed by all who knew her.

  6. Donnie and Kids, I’m Karen Craddock and we were very close to your family when we also belonged to the Congrgational Church. My mom, Liz, was Bette Hirsch – so our families were connected by the grocery stores, too. No one is left in Pueblo except Marion Hirsch Gustafson, whom I’m sure Donnie knows. She lives at the Villa. Many wonderful memories of Jeannie and the family. She was a beautiful person inside and out! Love to you all.
