  3. Dear Sandy: I am so, so sorry for your loss. Having an adult daughter myself, and knowing what best of friends you can become, through thick and thin, it has been hard for me to find the right words to say. I am very sorry for you loss. Losing a child is the hardest thing anyone can go through. Sandy, there is no greater joy than being a mom, so stay strong and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Jason, I never had a brother so I can only imagine your grief, my prayers are with you. And Chris, I have no words for you other than I have heard how much you loved each other, my thoughts and prayers are with you. If there is anything we can do, please do not hesitate to call or stop by.
    In sadness,
Holly Piserchio, Mike Fairbairn, Serch(Dick Piserchio), & Family

There was so much love surrounding you at the service and it was clear that the entire family has touched so many lives. It is our wish for you all that eventually the “Why’s” will be replaced with “Remember when…” and that the love and laughter you’ve shared in the past will carry you through the future.

    Our love always,

  9. Dear Sandy and Family:

You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I keep the following words in a frame near a photograph of my parents:

  22. Dear Gecewicz family,

It was with a heavy heart that I read of your loss. I regret that I was unable to attend today as Laura had knee surgery again and I was with her at the surgery center.

No one can immagine the extreme grief and loss associated with the loss of a child. After eight years, I am still not healed from the loss of my son-in-law. Hopefully, the bitter pain of your loss wil eventually be replaced with fond memories.

Please accept my sincere sympathy for you at this very trying time. I will pray for her repose and ask God to comfort you in your loss.

    Sincerely

    Ron

You may be finding it hard to understand why, but God needs her in Heaven. Her work here is through. It may seem as if she is far, but nothing could be farther from the truth. She will live through you now. She is closer than then ever. She will make you stronger, and carry you when needed. Believe in God at this time as hard as it may be. 32. I just opened the paper to read the obits and I could not believe my eyes then I read the name and of course the shock of realizing I knew this beautiful young lady and her incrediable family. In my profession I meet many families but none more loving and carring than the Gecewicz and Bratnick familys. JayDee was her own lady and you knew it the minute you met her, that is why I liked her so much. I will always remember the magnitude of planning her wedding and what a beautiful bride she truly was.
I would like to share some thoughts w/ you God is real, and he is always present. He will be with you in your darkest hour, too. You don’t have to be afraid. Jaydee’s race has been completed, and she is now with the Lord. When you are having feelings of inconsolable longing just remember, in Gods timing, you will see her again and hold her again, and walk and talk with her again.
    My Beloved Blessings and Prayers
    to both families.

  52. Jaydee was a very special student to me. She was intelligent, had a great smile and laugh, and she was sweet. I remember she was always focused and often very hard on herself. We laughed, we cried, we were silly and serious. She added so much to my classes and my life. After college she became my colleague at East High School. We had a great time. This will leave a great void in my life. She will always be in my heart. To Chris, Sandy and the rest of her family – I am sorry for your loss. If you need anything please let me know. I loved her very much.
