Jarrod K. Mangin, 24, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 25, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Jamie (Read) and stepson, Tayler; parents, Don and Kelley Mangin; sister, Lara (Ron) Dockery; grandparents, Robert and Shirley Mangin, Lyle Sharp and Mike and Katie Cozzolino; uncles and aunts, Howard and Beth Mangin, Kathy and Dennis Spinuzzi, David Mangin, Sam and Shirley Sharp, Robert and Charlene Sharp of Washington, Lyle and Vickie Sharp of Kentucky; parents-in-law, Frank and Rochelle Stringer; brother-in-law, Tony Cozzolino; sister-in-law, Morgan Stringer; nieces and nephews, Ashley Mangin, Charise and Ron Dockery, Jr., Taylor and Nicole Spinuzzi, Joshua, Jonathan, and Michael Mangin; and many other relatives and friends. Jarrod was born April 14, 1977, in Pueblo and graduated from Pueblo Central High School in 1995. He is an Eagle Scout. Jarrod served two years in the U.S. Navy. He held a contractors license and was a partner in G&M Builders. Viewing Monday, August 27, 2001 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2001, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 85 Stanford, with Pastor Kim James officiating. A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rocky Mountain Council BSA, through the funeral home.

    My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I was deeply saddened to hear about Jarrod’s passing. I will always remeber the good times we had together through Boy Scouts. Jarrod was a good person and we will all miss him.
