Janis Jackson, 71, passed away Dec. 5, 2014. Survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard E. Jackson; mother, Rose Lile of Pueblo; sons, Greg (Julie) Jackson of Beulah and Gary (Darla) Jackson of Eaton, Colo.; grandchildren, Molly, Chelsi and Seth Jackson; numerous brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Henry Lile. Janis was born Oct. 3, 1943, in Pueblo. Among her hobbies of collecting antiques, she was an avid collector of Precious Moments. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Life celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, Pueblo Christian Center, 1605 S. Pueblo Blvd., in the Fireside Room. I am so very sorry to hear Janis’s passing, both her and Richard are some of the best people I have ever met and the world was a better place for having Janis in it. over the past few years I lost touch with Janis and Richard but I think of them often and I know I have one more great friend waiting for me at the gates of Heaven.   4. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know Janice while doing her hair. She was a wonderful lady. I loved her laugh and wonderful sense of humor. I am thankful she is at peace now. Deepest condolences to the family.
