Janet McPherson, 82, went peacefully to be with her Savior June 4, 2022. Jan was born May 14, 1940, in Norborne, MO to Alfred and Ella Brock. Educated at St. Johns College in Winfield, KS, Jan worked as an accountant where she eventually met her husband. Jan enjoyed serving the community, including through the Rosemount Historical Museum and the old KTSC-TV Channel 8 Auction. Jan was active in church activities and in her PEO Chapter throughout her life. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Charles A. “Chuck” Brock. She and Jerry enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the United States and Canada, including trips to many different cities to catch a concert by George Strait, her favorite. She loved fishing and the family spent many long weekends each summer at Cottonwood Lake, west of Buena Vista. Jan is survived by her husband, Jerry; her son, Mark, of Avondale; her daughter, Paula (Ron) Parrish, of Bloomfield, NM; her sister, Lois (Bill) Bates, of Fowler; grandchildren, Dylan McPherson, Mitchel McPherson, and Ethan McPherson, all of Pueblo, Ryan Parrish, of Farmington, NM, and Bryanna Parrish, of Bloomfield. Also survived by two great-grandchildren, Ryla and Asa Parrish, of Farmington. Services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 11, 2022, at First Presbyterian Church, 220 W. 10th St, Pueblo.
