  1. Jack, Ed, Susie, Sharon and family,

Jan was always so sweet when we were in school together. I remember her driving that little green mustang around in high school. Hang on to your happy memories, and remember she is always right there with you – in your heart. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

  2. We were so blessed to have known Jan. We can hear her laugh and see her smile! We remember times at your house laughing, visiting and playing cards. Those are treasured memories.
Our hearts break for you, Jack, and for your boys and families. You are in our hearts and prayers. Love to you. Jack and Pat Mertz

  3. We are sorry for your loss. We are saying prayers for you and the boys asking Christ to help with your burden.

  4. My sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with the Hall family, as well as with her family at home in Mt. Sterling. I have a Christmas card from long ago with such a beautiful photo of the children among my keepsakes. Jan also came to visit me at my home not long before I was forced to go in to a health care home. God bless all of you.

  5. Heaven gained another angel. Jan was a beautiful woman with a infectious smile and heart of gold. My friend you will be missed.

  9. It was my great pleasure to meet Jack and Jan about a year ago. They are the parents of my daughters ( then boyfriend) we hit it off with both of them. And over the past year we have not only become good friends but also family. We were all so happy when Josh and Jen got engaged and we were planing the wedding and looking forward to really becoming family. Jen was so excited to have have such a sweet mother in law and I was looking forward to the time we could be co- grandma’s together.
God has other plans. We don’t know why, but we have to trust in the lord that he needed her in Heaven. And when we have grand-babies, I will do my best to tell them of the great women who is their guardian angel. She will live on through all that have loved her and known her.
And Grandpa Jack, Dan and Hannah, Matt and Stephanie and boys. Josh and Jen, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. You are always welcome in our home, at our table and in our hearts. Because as Jan said last week…. we are family. 💕💙💕💙

    • My deepest sympathies to Jack and family. As a classmate of Jan’s for 12 years I spent many overnights at her home in Mt. Sterling. I remember her and I riding in her little battery operated car up and down the street or just teasing Ruth! . After school we along with Charlotte and classmates would walk up to Howards Restaurant for a Pepsi and those potato chips which we dipped in ketchup!! We were cheerleaders our freshman year in high school. Jan was a friend to all and her loving, caring personality was second to none!
