James Yager Brown

The Reverend James Yager Brown, 93, passed away Jan. 29, 2016. Survived by his wife, Flora Brown; son, David (wife, Asteria) Brown; sister, Ruth Ann Shake; grandchildren, Tatiana Marco, Angela Holaway, Loren Hannah Brown, Emerald Lovato, Vincent Lovato; and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son, Ronald Brown; brother, William Brown; and sister, Mary Ellen Dick. James was born to Edda and Lutha Brown on Nov. 2, 1922, in Martinsville, Ind. He was a retired Disciples of Christ minister. He enjoyed disc golf, hiking, photography and biking. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium.
