James Leroy 'Jim' Catron, 61, went to be with the Lord Jan. 1, 2008, in Pueblo. Born Mar. 9, 1946, in Pueblo. Preceded in death by his father, Harry. He is survived by his mother, Evelina; brothers, Loren, Alfred, Herman (Mary Kay) and Michael (Kathy); aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, several other relatives and friends of the family. Jim was in the Navy during Vietnam and he retired from the CF & I and Oregon Steel Mill in 2002, after 36 years of service. He loved to fish and watch all types of sporting events with family. Viewing from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2007, at the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Military honors by Pueblo Veterans' Ritual Team. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, Colo. 81003.
