James “Jim” William Roberts, 71, passed away July 19, 2021. Survived by loving wife of 52 years, Linda Roberts; children, Shane (Jennifer), Laceen and Bryon (Mandy); grandchildren, Shania, Bryce, Faythe, Makayla, Valerie, Ethan, Luke, Samuel, Abygail and Hope; and siblings, Jack (Laura) Roberts, Jeffery Roberts, Jean (Alvin) Hall and June (Keith) Loterbauer. Preceded in death by parents; siblings, John E. Roberts and Rose Mary Roberts; granddaughter, Dakota Harris; and adopted son, Kelly Riggins. Jim was born to Lawrence and Hattie Roberts on March 28, 1950, in La Junta, Colo. and was a Property Manager and Real Estate Agent in Huerfano County. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and sharing the message of Salvation to anyone he could talk to. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2021, at Lathrop State Park with Pastor Bryon Roberts officiating. Follow balloons and signs to his favorite fishing spot.   4. Linda and family,
    We were so so so very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. We know he conquered some really serious health issues and the Lord brought him through. But we imagine it was his time to go to the Father and help find homes for all of us.
    We will miss him coming into the office to get taxes and just being the kind and gentle man he was.
