James DiChellis, 82, born in Koehler, New Mexico, passed away November 25, 2002, in Pueblo, Colorado. Survived by aunt, Elsie Lumley; children: James B. DiChellis, Keith David DiChellis, Deborah Fox, Mary (Dave Grahek)
DiChellis, Peggy (Lt. Col. Ed) Browne,
Joanna (Bill) Argys and John (Deb) DiChellis; nine grandchildren; numerous cousins; and Julia Pace. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Angelina (Maiden name: Mangino) DiChellis;
brothers, Peter and John DiChellis; sister,
Louisa Marchiando, aunt, Florence Bonino. James attended Holy Trinity High School in Trinidad and was the quarterback for the football team. He
proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a Corporal in the European Theatre during WWII. James was shop foreman in Pueblo for W.K. Hurd
Pontiac, W.A. Wills and Vidmar Mathis. He will be remembered for his mechanical ability, generosity, sense of humor and love for his family. He will lie in state at the funeral home today from noon until 6 p.m. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m.
Saturday, November 30, 2002, at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 11th and Grand, in Pueblo. Interment 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Raton, New Mexico.
