Jacque Ann McMahan, 83, passed away August 13, 2020. Survived by daughter, Cathy (Ernie) Manchego; sons, Jack (Jodee) Fountain and Chris (Lennea) McMahan; grandchildren, Michael (Launa) Manchego, Jerry (Nona) Manchego, Craig (Jenni) Manchego, Heath (Rachel) Fountain, Melissa (Darren) Williams, Michaela (Michael) Rickley, and Bailey McMahan (Wesley Karban); and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by grandmother, Madge (Gumpy) Ewing; parents, Jack and Katie Ewing; and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Fountain. Jacque was born on October 24, 1936, in Gorin, Mo. and worked at the Stockman. She was a nurse with Fowler Health Care Center, St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center and Ark Valley Correctional Facility. Jacque enjoyed family, holidays and any visit from her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Even though she hadn’t had one in years, she enjoyed telling stories and talking with friends over a Bud Light. Even without a beer, the stories and conversations continued; so much family history we all enjoyed hearing. We will miss her. Family remembrance to be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice, 1920 Valley Drive, Pueblo, CO 81008. Online condolences, www.MontgomerySteward.com

  1. Was so sorry to hear about your Mom. I remember when she worked at The Stockman with my Mom (Rogene Smith) and at the Fowler Nursing Home. Sending hugs and prayers to all of you. Bev (Smith) and Alan Kochevar

  2. CandleImageI spent alot of time at Jacque Ann’s growing up as Cathy and I were friends. She was always very kind to me and I was always welcome in her house. She was a single Mom for many years to her 3 children. I had not seen her in several years, but she will always be remembered in my heart.
    RIP Jacque
