Jack E. Isenhour, 90, passed away Jan. 29, 2017. Survived by his children, Kathryn (Greg) Musso and Steven (Melanie) Isenhour; grandchildren, Krysta Musso and Trystan Isenhour. Preceded in death by his wife, Beverly C. (Beach) Isenhour; parents, brother, Eugene Isenhour; and granddaughter, Kayleigh Musso. Jack was born to Clarence and Kathryn Isenhour on Jan. 23, 1927, in Scottsbluff, Neb. He was a WWII Navy veteran and a public educator for 36 years. His education career began in Scottsbluff, Neb., and then he and Beverly moved to Pueblo in 1953. He became the first Principal of Benjamin Franklin Elementary and later served as Executive Director of Elementary Education. He retired from School District 60 in 1984. Jack was a member of PEA, CEA, NEA, Phi Delta Kappa, Lions Club, Kiwanis, Veteran of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Ascension Episcopal Church, having served in many capacities for over 50 years. He was one of the founding organizers and Executive Secretary of the Colorado High School All-State Games and Treasurer of Pueblo Republican Central Committee. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, at Ascension Episcopal Church, 420 W. 18th St. Inurnment, Ascension Episcopal Columbarium.
