Ivan J. Chupp

Ivan J. Chupp, 70, of Pueblo, Colorado, passed away on June 12, 2006, doing what he enjoyed, volunteering at his church. Preceded in death by his first wife of 47 years, Delight Kanagy Chupp; daughter, Yvonne Chupp; parents, Jacob and Ada Chupp; and brothers, Benjamin, Daniel, Perry and John. Survived by his wife, Nancy Valentine Chupp; children, Jay (Kathy) Chupp, Melody (Dan) Rogers, Karen Reed, Darlene (William) Berryman; stepchildren, Andy (Amy) Kitchen and Julie (Jerry) Bayless; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; six step-grandchildren; brothers, Roy (Mary) Chupp, Roman (Ada) Chupp, William (Emma) Chupp, Ezra (Betty) Chupp and Eli (Dorothy) Chupp; sister, Anna (Roy) Schlabach; numerous nieces and nephews. Ivan was born March 19, 1936, in Trail, Ohio. He was an active member of Belmont Church of the Nazarene where he sang in the choir and did much volunteer work. Ivan was also an avid walker and loved nature. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium.
