Iva Nell 'Ick' Tindell McDaniel, co-owner of McDaniel Plumbing & Heating located at 2417 N. Elizabeth St. Born in Cameron, Mo., in 1917. She was raised in Kibby Valley near Buffalo, Okla., by wheat farming parents during the height of the Depression. She attended Kibby Country School and played guard on the Girls' District Champion Basketball Team. Beloved wife of Charles W. McDaniel who is deceased and devoted mother of Bill, Buddy Ray (who is deceased) and Tom (Lois). Grandmother of Jeff, Sandy, Chris, Stacy, Wesley, Brian, Nathan and Josie. Also survived by seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Ick was a friend and confidant to so many and reveled in serving others. She will be sadly missed by all. Viewing from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, at First Baptist Church, 9th and Grand, with Pastor David Duque officiating.
