Irma A. Milyard, 89, passed away Friday, April 28, 2006, in Fort Benton, Montana. Survivors include her daughters, Pam (Royce) Cappis of Fort Benton, Patricia Hankins and Dianna (Alfonso) Garcia, both of Pueblo; son, Dean (Vera) Milyard of Missoula, Mont.; 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Hans Christian and Emma (Pike) Anderson; and brother, Robert J. Anderson. Irma was born February 10, 1917, in Mosca, Colo. After graduating from high school she attended college in Gunnison, Colo. Irma worked in the installment loan dept. for many years and was the first woman bank officer at Pueblo Bank and Trust where she worked for 32 years. She was very independent and a single mother that raised four children who all went on to attend college. Irma was faithful to her family, frugal and loyal to her employers. Upon her retirement, Irma traveled all over the world. Irma enjoyed gardening, flowers, playing bridge, knitting, crocheting, concerts and reading. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Ladies Circle. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at the First United Methodist Church, 11th & Court, with the Reverend Dr. Rick Calhoun officiating.
