IRENE MARJORIE HAINES September 4, 1916 - August 8, 2011 Marjorie Haines entered into glory after a long life devoted to full time ministry. She was born in New York City; a graduate of Hunter College and Moody Bible Institute. She became an SIM missionary in Nigeria for 25 years before marrying the Reverend Nevin A. Haines in 1968. Together, they pastored churches in Iowa, Nebraska, and Colorado. Mrs. Haines is survived by four stepdaughters and a stepson; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Graveside service, 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mountain View Cemetery, officiated by her son, John Haines, Director of Worship, Christ Covenant Church, Matthews, North Carolina.
