  1. Dear Joyce,

I was so sorry to hear of your mother. It seems such a short time since we lived close by each other! Just wanted you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know how hard it is to lose your mother. I really would like to have you for lunch sometime and renew our friendship. When you are ready please call me or send me an e-mail and we will set up a time.

    Love,

    Barbara
