Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Dear Perrino Family and Neal Jones……I hope you all know how much we loved Imy and appreciated all she did for our sons, Mario and Michael….Between Pearl, Imy and the rest of you, I con’t know if we could have gotten by without all of you. We were so moved by all who participated in her Service… it brought home the fact that FAMILY is the greatest thing in our lives…We love you all, and pray God keeps you in his warm embrace ! Joni and Mike Giarratano

  2. We are so, so sorry to hear of Imy’s passing. We both have such wonderful memories of all the time we spent together in our younger years. Our trips to Juarez and spending hours listening to Neil play the guitar and sing. Also, great times at Mike and Pearls house. We always laugh about Imy saying, “turn down that box” and “shoveling (you know what). She was just a joy to be around. Our hearts go out to you all. We are thinking of you.

    George and Toni Garza

    • Hi George and Toni,
Thanks so much for your note. We all enjoyed the many times we spent together with you both over the years. You made our lives a joy on so many occasions and in so many ways. Imy was very peaceful; believing in the great adventure of eternity. Neil was stalwart in support of Imy; genuinely loving and kind as always. Toni, we spoke of you both many times over the years; hearing your giggles Toni as George would spin his hilarious tales. Thanks so much to you both for your friendship to all of us. We love you both immensely.

    • Dear Holly,
Thank you for sharing your experience with our beloved Sister Imy. We are delighted that she sent something to you that she made. She often made things for others and we all know from experience what it was like to get something from her that she made. Her love was all over it. Her love for you is part of your story and will remain long after the potholders have finished their service. Be Blessed Dear Lady and God Bless You.

  3. Michelle Jiggs and I just loved your mom and our hearts are broken for you and your family. Be reassured she is in a place of love without pain. I know she will always be right by your side. Remember the wonderful times you got to spend with her.

    With love and prayers,

    Val and Jiggs Giglio

    • Val and Jiggs,
Imy spoke so often about your friendship. Imy would very humorously, tell us of having lunch together with you and perhaps her language would get a bit “salty” and Dee would say, “Imy, language.” Of course we would just crack-up laughing when she related the story. Our father was a WWII sailor and let’s say, she learned a few “sailor Blue” comments. We are glad that you both know that you were Loved by her. That Love lives on inside of you now and we Know Dee that you have a BIG and lasting Love that you share with others. Thank you so much for your sweet note. We cherish your thoughts.

  4. My beautiful, sweet, Aunt Imy. I will always have the fondest memories and remember her as being loving, gentle and kind. I loved her laugh and can still see her cracking up with her head tilted up to the ceiling, with my mom sitting at my grandma’s house visiting with us while we were there.

Looking forward to seeing her in heaven in her new body. Not sick anymore, not in pain, but well at last. My beautiful, sweet, Aunt Imy.

    • Lorry,
Thank You so much for your sweet, faithful words. Our hope for eternity is only in the Messiah Jesus. I am going to ask Michelle for more to fill-in the blanks for me and I’ll get back with you. But you describe my sweet Sister Imy to a “T” and her infectious laugh. Much Love to You and HIS BLESSINGS!

  5. My sincere condolences to your family for your loss. As a close family friend in my younger day’s I spent some time with the Perrino family. Imy was such a joy to be around. She was such a caring person with a great sense of humor. Blessings to all of you and God bless Imy!

    • Chris,
Thanks so much Chris. We remember the many laughs our family had with yours and a Christmas Eve we once had at your parent’s home many moons ago. Your family is thought of with laughter and joy when we get together. Thanks for remembering.

  6. I never had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Imogene Jones, but considering her daughter Michelle to be one of my very best friends, I know she was an amazing woman to raise such a daughter! I hope her family finds comfort and peace in the upcoming year and beyond.

    • Kristine,
Michelle shares her life with all of her family. Your kind words reflect the person we know from Michelle’s stories of you. You are well thought of and much thanks for your thoughts; they heal the hurt heart.

    • Nancy,
It was very nice to see you and John at Imy’s memorial. It is healing to the wounded heart to see depth of true, lasting honor and love through the many seasons of our lives. Forgiveness is powerful and is admired. You and John are very warmly thought of and Imy and I shared our many memories, laughing together thinking of you and John and Gina and John Jr. We giggled frequently whenever we saw “old bananas” and thought about how Gina would call them “otten nannas”

  7. Imy, who is the Mom to my best friend Michelley, is a strong and beautiful soul who radiated love and confidence here on Earth. She will be so missed but we know, that now that she has her wings, that she will be raising holy heaven with the Saints and watching over her loved ones here on this planet.
    Love,
    Tishy

    • Thank You Tisha,
We are so Grateful that you occupy a very tender part of Michelle’s heart. Imy was so thankful for your friendship with Michelle. You are very highly regarded and often remembered in our conversations with Michelle. She cherishes your friendship! We do too!

  8. To a cousin from a cousinnot forgotten. Rest in peace Imy from Dennis Vigil and family (parents were Poncho and Vickie Vigil)
Your mom and dad and my mom and dad were very good friends and i have good memories of you and all the family.
    Dennis, Joyce and family

    • Hi Dennis,
You and your family will never be forgotten by any of us. We fondly called your parents “Uncle” and “Aunt” – they were truly wonderful, salt of the earth, God loving people.
