Iletta Marie Fields, 73, was welcomed into the loving arms of her family of angels on Sept.6, 2013. Survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Floyd Fields; daughter, Diane (Greg) Medrick; grandchildren, Amanda, Meghan, Connor and Jessica; brother, Sam (Sylvia) Minton; sisters, Sharon (Jerry) Maglietto, Christine Cruckshank; sisters-in-law, Betty and Marlene Fields; brother-in-law, Darryl (Sue) Fields; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Hope in June 2013; parents, Timothy and May Minton; in-laws, Orlin and Earlene Fields; brothers, Bill, Jim, LeeRoy, George and Darrel. Iletta was born Jan. 20, 1940, in Las Animas, Colo., and graduated from Canon City High School in 1959. She married Floyd Fields on July 30, 1961. They have been residents of Penrose, Colo., for 52 years. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Floyd. We were sorry to hear about Iletta, you must feel so lost. She was such a capable and nice person that always had a smile for everyone. She will be missed so much.
