Ileen Jewel Brice

Ileen Jewel Brice, 97, passed away June 3, 2009. Survived by her son, Cliff (Lunda) Brice, Jr. of Pueblo; son-in-law, Ellwyn Meek of Texas; siblings, Richard L. Lucy of Tulsa, Okla. and Leola McIntyre of Edmund, Okla.; grandchildren, Renee (Mike) Vanover, Michelle (Will) Tinsley, Lee McIntyre, Cliff (Sandy) Brice III and Bonner (Annette) Brice; and great-grandchildren, Russell Vanover, Steven Tinsley, Andrea Tinsley, Megan Tinsley, Justin Hubenak, Taryn Hubenak, Clifford C. Brice, Drew Brice, Mattea Brice, Adam Brice and Megan Brice. Preceded in death by her husband, Cliff Brice, Sr., in 1979; daughter, Fanchon Meek; brother, Kenneth Lucy; and grandson, Brice Meek. Ileen was born to Michael and Mathea Lucy on Nov. 22, 1911, in Coteau, N.D. In the early years she partnered with her husband, Cliff, in operating Cliff Brice Stations. She also volunteered as a gray lady at St. Mary Corwin Hospital. She was a member of Lake Avenue Baptist Church and Beta Sigma Phi. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2009, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the Reverend George White officiating.
