Idonia A. Farrell, 96, passed away Nov. 25, 2009. Survived by her daughters, Donna (Karl) Burnett of Pueblo and Marilyn Jane (John) Heckathorne of Willmington, N.C.; sister, Thelma McCray of Pueblo; grandchildren, Debra Giltner of Pueblo, John (Svetlana) Burnett of Silverthorne, Colo., Cathy (Scott) Libbee of Silver Spring, Md. and Lisa (Ronnie) Roberts of Willmington, N.C.; ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Otis Farrell on June 14, 2003; and parents, Andrew and Jane Austin. Idonia was born Sept. 1, 1913, in Elk City, Okla. She worked at Crews-Beggs as a clerk. She was an active member of Belmont Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. Idonia enjoyed sewing and gardening. Viewing from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday and service 10 a.m. Tuesday both in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Pastor Don Worthington officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
