Ida V. Marsalis

Ida V. Marsalis, 85, passed away May 19, 2001, in Denver. Survived by her children, Susan Evans of Houston, Texas and Cheryl (Roger) Clawson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Ada (John) Hamilton of Wheat Ridge, Colorado; brother, Les Trask of Ontario, California; grandchildren, Andrea Clawson, Grant (Kimberly) Evans, Chad Evans and Mendy Evans; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Marsalis, on July 30, 1998. Ida was born February 21, 1916, to Samuel and Mary (nee Wilkerson) Trask in Steelville, Missouri. She will lie in state at the funeral home from 2-5 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2001, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Reverend Pat Lockhart officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Those who desire may make memorials to American Heart Association through the funeral home.
