Hilda M. Blanc, 82, passed away May 1, 2015. Survived by her children, Jack (Patty) Blanc, Jr. of Pueblo and Cathy (Jim) Stanek of St. Paul, Minn.; brother, Fidel Aguirre, Jr. of Littleton; grandchildren, Jason Stanek, Sarah (Jonathan) Mills, Larissa (John) Gavin, Kerri (Ryan) Acosta, Meghan (Jesus) Lopez, Jack (Alison) Blanc, III, Ashly Blanc; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Jack A. Blanc; son, Michael Blanc; siblings, Raymond Aguirre, Felia Arellano, Rosanna Laydon, Lucille Laydon, Alvin Aguirre, and Eddie Aguirre. Hilda was born to Fidel and Josephine Aguirre on July 1, 1932, in Walsenburg, Colo. and was a longtime Pueblo, Colo. resident. A member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, where she was the administrative assistant for more than twenty years. Hilda was a lovely person who had a contagious laugh and a wonderful sense of humor. She always was concerned about others before herself. She had a great love for her grandchildren and was very proud of all their accomplishments. Her love of animals echoed her kind and loving nature. Her smile and beautiful spirit will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. Hilda was also a member of the Legion of Mary and acted as a Eucharistic Minister and reaching out to many of the homebound. Special thanks to Lorraine Guerin, the staff at Innovage, and the staff at Life Care Center. Visitation thirty minutes prior to the Mass. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2015, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 11th and Grand Ave. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Those who desire may make memorials to American Lung Association or Pueblo Animal Shelter, c/o Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, CO 81003.   6. My Great Aunt Hilda was a wonderful beautiful person. She was very gentle and caring. Everyone who met her fell in love with her!!! She will be greatly missed and always remembered with love!!!!
