  3. Lore, I am so sorry. Your dad was a great man. Spending time with your family was always so much fun. Your parents gave love unconditionally. I will always remember good times with them. Hugs and prayers. Cathy Albrecht Fair

  4. I wish I could be there to honor this amazing man. He influenced everyone’s path that he crossed. Herbs big heart and unconditional love is a great legacy to him and his family. It helps to know we will see him again and he will play music for us in heaven. Lore I am sending you a big hug and I will hug you in person soon. Love, Dawn Long

  5. Words cannot describe my love for this man. Herbie and Berdie were and will always be two of my very favorite people on earth. From the time I was born, the two of them were around and have been an incredible support for my family and I. I have missed our pasta nights where they would bring Pasta Cottage to our home and I have missed just hearing Herb’s laugh, one of the most recognizable giggles which I can still replay over and over in my head. I loved reading his poems, listening to his life stories, and, of course, just sitting there and watching him. Herb had an amazing sense of humor, was very proud of his family, was a talented musician, and all-around fun-loving individual. Wow, it’s hard to think that he’s no longer with us.

  6. We want to express our sincere condolences for the family loss. Herb represented the United Steel Workers on the Board of Directors of the Pueblo Neighborhood Health Centers, PNHC, and as the CEO a friendship was established that persisted for well over thirty years and until we recently lost him. He would always make my day when he would arrive for an appointment with a new poem. He had a wonderful sense of humor. His small built hid his enormous heart and his grit when it came to protecting the health services created by the PNHC. The family have much to be proud of and we hope memories of him will help ease the pain of your loss. I will always harbor an enormous respect for him and I never met a stronger advocate for the people of Pueblo.

  7. Lore (Carl), Tom(Shay), Bob(Shari), and the rest of the family, Francis and I want to say how sorry we are for your loss. We know just how close you all are, and it is extremely difficult to lose someone that you love so much. Your dad was a very kind, gentle, and gifted man and that will be his legacy which will continue on through you. Just know that Francis and i will always hold a special place for you in our hearts. With having really no backup, I am not sure if I will be able to attend your dad\’s service. Just know that we will be praying for all of you. Love you all.
