Henry Rodrigues, 71, of Pueblo, Colorado, on April 5, 2005, left this world to be with his beloved wife, Mary Ellen, who passed away Feb. 3, 2005. Survived by siblings, Dolores Pimento of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Joseph Rodrigues of Tacoma, Wash., Jerome Rodrigues of Tulare, Calif., James Rodrigues of Waianae, Hawaii, Juliet Rodriguez of Elk Grove, Calif. and Melvin Rodrigues of Roseburg, Ore.; numerous nieces and nephews including Brenda Thayer and Roberta Luke, both of Dillsboro, Ind.; and several close friends. Henry was born to Henry and Evelyn Rodrigues on June 5, 1933, in Hamakuapoko, Maui, Hawaii. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict earning United Nations, Korean, three Bronze and National Defense medals. During his diverse career he worked as a bookkeeper for Johnson Electric and Abba Eye Center. Viewing at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until service time on Tuesday. Funeral service, 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2005, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Pastor Richard Conley officiating. Private interment at Mountain View Cemetery.   1. I was fortunate to know and care for Henry as well as Mary at Fuente de Vida Hospice. He was a sincere and caring person. He made you smile when he was smiling. We’ve had some good talks about how he met his wife and his experience in the service. He will be missed.
