Henry (Enrique) Lopez, Sr., 79, of Pueblo, Colorado, passed away August 12, 2006. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Sadie Gallegos Lopez, of the family home in Pueblo; daughter, Lena (John) Duran of Pueblo; sons, Henry (Vivian) Lopez, Jr. of Pueblo, Ronald (Shirley) Lopez of Pueblo and Gary (Grace) Lopez of Lakewood, Colo.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Margie Martinez of Pueblo and Annie Ortega of Grand Rapids, Mich.; brothers, Jesse Lopez of Las Vegas, Nev. and Dan Lopez of Pueblo; best friend and compadre, Fernando Salazar. Preceded in death by his father, Enrique Lopez; mother, Damacia Lopez; and sister, Josephine Gutierrez. Henry was born in Des Moines, N.M. on April 6, 1927. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Henry retired as a machinist from Dana Perfect Circle. As per his request, there will be no viewing or services. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium.
