Helen Marie (Glach) Davis, 91, passed away on April 4, 2017. Preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, William C. Davis; her parents, Anton and Frances(Pechnik) Glach; brothers and sisters, Frances Glach, Anton Glach, Sr. Carolyn, OSB, Joe (Dorothy) Glach, Mary (Harold) Edwards, Anna Glach, Rudy (Nina) Glach and John (Lorraine) Glach; daughter-in-law, Connie Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Robert) McClelland; sons, William G. (Eileen) Davis and Kevin G. (Shay) Davis; grandchildren, Brenda (Mike Jewell) McClelland, Karen Harrington, Chelsea and Kristen Davis, Christopher, Justin, Jacqueline, Ryan, Matthew, Michael and Meagan Davis; and four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Glach and Edna Davis; numerous nieces and nephews, including special nephew, Richard Glach. Helen was born Jan. 6, 1926, in Pueblo, Colo. Bill and Helen were married on Nov. 23, 1944, at St. Mary's Church in Pueblo. Helen worked as a secretary at the Prudential Insurance Company. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society, the Nocturnal Adoration Society, and a life member of KSKJ Lodge #7. Helen, the youngest of nine children, lived her entire life in the family home in Bojon town where she and her brothers and sisters were born and raised. Bill and Helen also raised their three children in that same family home. Helen will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She prayed the rosary every day for family and friends and she also attended Mass on a daily basis until her health declined. Her kindness and warm smile will never be forgotten. Special thanks to all the staff at the Life Care Center of Pueblo, the Intensive Care Unit at Parkview Hospital, and the Joni Fair Hospice House for their compassionate care and support.
