Helen Ellen (Craven) Sheard, 98, Sunrise April 19, 1907. Sunset June 23, 2005. Survived by children, Marylou Groves, William H. (Irene) Sheard, Jr. and Harold E. (Lois) Sheard; grandchildren, Robert E. (Carol) Groves, Edward A. (Nancy) Groves, Deborah E. Dittmar, James E. (Sue) Groves, Cynthia Lynn (Michael) Quilico, Jeffrey Scott Sheard, Kathleen J. Sheard, Colleen J. (Bob) Housman, Daniel H. Sheard, Melonie A. (Brian) Housman and Michael E. Sheard; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, John Oliver and Mary Rena Craven; husband, William H. Sheard Sr. on Nov. 29, 1995, 9 siblings; son-in-law, Alfred H. Groves; and daughter-in-law, Nancy J. Sheard. Helen was a Den Mother at Somerlid School for a number of years. Past President of Ladies Auxiliary IOOF and Auxiliary #5 Carpenters Local #362 Pueblo and Past Commander of Navy Mothers #10 Pueblo. Member of First United Methodist Church and Courtesy Chairman of Rebecca Circle. Helen was a homemaker who enjoyed her home, gardening, sewing and helping people. Viewing at the funeral home Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2005, at First United Methodist Church, 11th and Court, with the Reverend Dr. Rick Calhoun officiating.
