Helen A. Miklich, 91, passed away April 5, 2014. Survived by her husband of 62 years, Edward Miklich; daughters, Edlyn (Ed) Plute of Colorado Springs and Mary Ann Miklich of Pueblo; grandchildren, Ed (Terra) Plute and Ellyn (David) Wilson; and great-grandchildren, Eira and Elam Plute, all of Lakewood. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Frances Pechnik; sisters, Lorraine Pechnik and Fay Babich; brothers, John and Stanley Gaber. Helen was born Aug. 7, 1922, in Pueblo. She enjoyed embroidery, reading, baking and watching the Broncos. Member of SNPJ#21 and Slovenian Women's Union #3. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, at St. Mary Church, 307 E. Mesa Ave. Memorials may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice in appreciation of their care for Helen, through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, CO 81003.
