Helen A. Eubanks, 80, passed away on September 11, 2008. Survived by her loving husband, Paul C. Eubanks; stepchildren, Robert and Douglas Eubanks; sisters, Esther Mauro and Christine Wilkins; brother, Tony Thomas. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lucy Thomas, and brothers, Albert Thomas, Johnny Thomas and Louis Di Thomaso. Helen was born in Pueblo, Colorado on April 21, 1928. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and Southern Colorado A's. Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1145 S. Aspen Road, with Fr. William Gleason as celebrant. Entombment, Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pueblo Animal Shelter, through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. I’ll miss your sweet smile. I can’t look at the corner table without crying. You became such a dear friend to me, not “just a patient.” I only wish I had been there to hold your beautiful hand when you passed into heaven. But, I’m thankful that your suffering is over. I look forward to seeing your sweet face in heaven.
