Hazel Mesplay, 97, longtime resident of Pueblo, Colo. passed away on September 18, 2004, in Morrison, Colo. She was born in Salida, Colo., on May 19, l907, to Edna Rout Graham (deceased) and Timothy Graham (deceased, and former Civil War Veteran). She was the wife of Vivian Mesplay (deceased); mother of Kenneth Mesplay of Golden, Colo. and Phillip Mesplay (deceased); grandmother of Julie Hofferbert, Patricia Rushbrook, Mike Mesplay, Lisa Turvey, Christy, Kent, and Ian Mesplay; great-grandmother of Heather and David Hofferbert, Nicholas Pigott, and Jimmy McGrath. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Service is pending. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery. When I first met the Mesplay family, as Bob’s wife, he interduced Aunt Hazel and Uncle Bebe as his 2nd Mother and father.Aunt Hazel loved family. I have wonderful memories of family gatherings and dinners at their house in Pueblo.She was so blessed to have so many love her. Now God has taken her into his arms.
