Harry Voss, 89, of Pueblo, passed away July 13, 2019. Born in Las Vegas, N.M. on Oct. 10, 1929, to Gus and Carrie Voss. Grew up helping his parents and five siblings operate a dairy farm. Survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruthanna Russell; daughters, Sandy (Ron) Reems, Dee (David) Deatherage; sons, Russell (Dana) and Kim (Trish); eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. First born, Larry, passed at age of one. Harry served in the US Army for four years. In 1955, bought and drove one of the first milk transport trucks. After seven years, moved to Pueblo, owned and drove semi-trucks for C&H Transportation, hauling steel to oil rigs. When a franchise became available, purchased a Baskin-Robbins 31 Ice Cream store near King Soopers, later a second store in Belmont and a third in the mall. After 23 years, and many, many customers, Harry retired to travel and help with maintenance in his beloved Central Christian Church. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Friday, July 19, at Central Christian Church, 1902 N. Hudson Ave. Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church, 1902 N.   1. Condolences to the Voss family. Always enjoyed working with Harry, Ruth Ann and Kim at Baskin Robbins at the Pueblo Mall. What a wonderful man and his family were always so nice to me. Harry had a wonderful smile always, never saw him angry.

  4. Harry was the smiling, laughing light in the room. Always in a good mood and so nice. I have such fond memories of him and the Voss Ranch which we visited many times to see our Aunt Cary and Uncle Gus and all our cousins.
    My prayers and thoughts to Ruthann and all the family. I am sure Harry will be greatly missed.
