Harold M. Young, 80, passed away September 17, 2003, in Pueblo, Colo. Survived by his wife, Helen Young; children, Charlene (David) Culbreath of Amarillo, Texas, Kim (Alyce) Young of Idaho Falls, ID, Debbie (Pierre) Bettelli of Elizabeth, Colorado, Marc (Tracy) Young of Loveland, Colorado and Melanie (Brian) Norwood of Rockton, Pennsylvania; brother, Donald Young of Littleton, Colorado; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was born August 26, 1923, in Harveyville, Kansas to Ivan and Bernice Young. He served as a Gunnery Staff Sergeant in the 392nd Bomb group in Europe during World War II and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross during his military service. He was a master electrician and member of the I.B.E.W., Local 12. At his request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Friends and relatives will be welcomed at an Open House in Harold's memory from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 23, 2003, at the family home. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make memorials to the National Jewish Medical Research Center or a charity of choice through the funeral home.

    I would not have recognized him as it has been many years since he worked for my Dad and of course I remember him and the family when that was in 1950 something? My how time flys. I am going to see you this afternoon.
