Gwilym 'David' Jones Jr., 88, passed away December 25, 2007. Survived by his son, Ronald David (Dolores) Jones of Lakin, Kans.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Jones; son, Gary Wayne Jones; and daughter, Nansi Lyn Clark. He was born in Cokedale, Colorado, on April 4, 1919, to Mary Elizabeth and Gwilym David Jones, Sr. David served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He was a member of Cathedral of the Sacred Heart and Eagles Lodge #145. As per his request, there will be no viewing or services. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Ronald: You probably don’t remember me since I was quite a bit older than me but I know my mother Genevieve Houghton stopped at your house a lot on here way to and from work at the State Hospital. She was the sister of your Grandmother Mary. It has been too many years and I wish our families had been closer in the early years. I am retired and live in Colo City 81019, PO Box 19947. If you can please e-mail or write to me sometime and maybe we can catch up on some things. I know that we both ended up with David in our names from your Dad and Grandfather.
