Gregory 'Pete' Power, 71, ended his battle with cancer Aug. 4, 2011, and went to be with the Lord. Greg will be sadly missed by his wife of 45 years, Hannelore; children, Kelli Power (Dan McDonald), Chris Alsteen, Ralph (Brigette) Power and Suzie (Rodger) Jewell; grandkids, Jonathon Verna, Cody Power, Devon Alsteen, and Ciara Power; siblings, Norma (Alan) Zupkofska, Ruth (Joe) Taravella; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Greg and Velma Power. Greg was born May 25, 1940, in Pueblo. He retired from the Santa Fe Railroad. His passion was his family and fishing. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Online condolences, MontgomerySteward.com *
