Gordon (Butch) Vidal Raigoza, 42, died unexpectedly on April 27, 2000. Survived by his parents, Vidal and Stella (nee Sanchez) Raigoza, son, Severino Raigoza, sister, Gloria (Alberto) Raigoza-Denegri, brother, Victor (Lisa) Raigoza and longtime companion, Michael Flavin. Also survived by nephews, Steven (Mindy) Masias and Alejandro Masias, grandmothers, Altagracia Raigoza and Emma Sanchez, as well as numerous other relatives. Born, November 1, 1957 in Pueblo. He graduated from USC with an AA degree in mental health. He will lie in state at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. today at the funeral home and from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of Sacred Heart, 11th & Grand Ave., where a Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. today with the Reverend Father Anthony Wojcinski as celebrant. Cremation will follow at the Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. The family will receive family and friends in the church hall immediately following the Mass. They respectfully request the omission of flowers. Those who desire may make memorials to the Cathedral Building Fund in memory of Gordon.
