Resided in: Pueblo, CO

Gloria Ona DeBono Sinclair, born in Denver on December 6, 1926, and raised in Trinidad, Colo., died of sudden heart failure on July 27, 2010, in Pueblo, Colo. She graduated from Trinidad High School, earning a scholarship to an art academy in Kansas City, Mo. A talented singer and dancer, she performed in clubs and USO shows across So. Colo. A shared interest in Swing Band music led to nearly 50 years of love and happiness with her husband, John, who predeceased her in 2002. She poured her creativity into her home and gardens, always a gracious hostess and loving mother to their only daughter, Kristi L. (Charles T.) Edwards Highly skilled in display, graphic, and fine arts, her eye for color, proportion and style was excellent. She used this ability in her work at several local jewelry stores and for many organizations including the League of Women Voters and the Pueblo Genealogical Society. Recently, she designed holiday posters and flyers for events at Villa Pueblo, her home for the last few years. She will be missed by many friends, her daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter, Leighanna Edwards Locke, and her extended family. Mass, 3 p.m. today at Christ the King Church, 1708 Horseshoe Dr. In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make memorials to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation, in care of Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, CO 81003. Online condolences, MontgomerySteward.com
