Gloria Ann Saldana, age 73, passed away January 7, 2021. Preceded in death by her parents, Alcarita & Louis Vigil; great-granddaughter, Jaidyn Medina; and son-in-law, Ramon Vigil.
Survived by her daughters, Diana Casaus (Romulo Barela), Janel Medina, Carisa Spangler (Jeff Santos), Ida Urioste and Audrey “Rose” Trujillo; son, Brandon Trujillo; sisters, Marylou Toth, Cynthia (Gene) Trujillo, Gladys Gurule and Josie Martinez; and special partner of 31 years, Arthur Urioste. He was amazing to Gloria and she loved him so much and her puppy, Tinkerbell. Also survived by grandchildren, Michael (Becky) Medina, Illysa Medina, Aiden Sestrom, Alorah Saldana-Vigil (Cruz Trujillo), Joshua Spangler, Ashton Bailey, Ethan Spangler, Jaron Robles and Brysen Trujillo; great-grandchildren, Ayanna Colón, A.J. Medina and Lettie Martinez; niece, Danette Gomez and nephew, Daniel (Patty) Garcia; great-nieces and great-nephews, Damien, Shelby, Sadie, Konni, Nathan, Desiree and Autumn; and numerous other family and friends.
Gloria was born May 14, 1947, in Dalhart, Texas. She retired from Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder. Her family meant everything to her. She enjoyed gardening, Cripple Creek, the mountains, travel and politics. She was a member of the Chicano Democratic Caucas for many years.

Henry Saldana I am so very heart broken about Gloria! She will always be a part of my life, She gave me a beautiful daughter! I am very proud of Carisa and her sisters Diana and Janal and I know Gloria will look over all of them and all ways be there for them, she will all ways be part of me in my daughter Carisa!
