Glenn Valdetero, 86, passed away Dec. 31, 2016. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Alice Valdetero; children, Donna Valdetero, Jerry Valdetero, Janelle Underriner and Gary Valdetero; grandchildren, Marsha McDermott, Jeremy Valdetero, Jamie Valdetero, Dario Valdetero, Kit Underriner, Abrianna Valdetero and Forrest Valdetero; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Preceded in death by his daughter, Sharoyn Carty. Glenn was adopted by Albert and Pearl Valdetero and born on Jan. 13, 1930, in Jennings, La. In 1952, Glenn came to Pueblo, Colo. to start a new life as a professional photographer and a Christian gospel singer on the radio station KDZA. That is when he met Alice, the love of his life. He also worked as a truck driver and in auto body repair and enjoyed racing his #53 stock car. Glenn loved animals and the outdoors, and is preceded in death by his beloved dogs, Snoopy, Samantha, Sugar, and many more. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel.
