Glenn P. 'Bub' Sutcliffe, ('Sudsy'), 72, passed away April 23, 2003 in Pueblo. Survived by his children, Lois (Al) Compton, Shirley (Jim) Pinelle, Glenn (Jan) Sutcliffe III, Charles (Lisa) Sutcliffe and Larry Sutcliffe; sister, Coleen Hansen; brother, Donald (Mary) Sutcliffe; special friend, Loretta Bradburn; 10 grandchildren, Cathelene, Brandee, Amy, Jackie, Nicole, Tawnya, Nicholas, Michael, Phillip and Lauren; 2 great-grandchildren, Irie and Ciarra; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; his wife, Shirley; son, Robert; sister, Charlotte Seybold; and uncle, Lawerence (Louiese) Jones. Born to Glenn and Evelyn Sutcliffe, March 16, 1931, in Westcliffe, Colorado. Glenn was a veteran of the U. S. Army and retired from the C.F.& I. Steel Mill where he was a mechanic for over thirty years. He was an avid hunter and a great mechanic and will be deeply missed by all. He will lie in state at the funeral home today from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 26, 2003, at Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Pastor Mark Crates officiating. Committal service and interment will be at 1:00 p.m. at Ula Cemetery in Westcliffe. The family will receive friends after 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Glenn's home. Those who desire may make memorial contributions to the Special Olympics through the funeral home.
