Glenda Sue Milam, 83, joined her Lord and Savior Thursday, May 27th, 2021. She was born to Ted and Maxine Richardson on August 31, 1937 in Guion, Arkansas.

She is survived by her husband, Elliott Milam; children, Cheryl (Ken) Gregory of Pueblo and Randy (Ginger) Milam of Canon City. She is also survived by her wonderful grandkids, Michelle (Josh Bell), Julie Milam, Bryan (Kim) Gregory, Ashley Milam, and Shawn (Darci Milam); along with her great-grandchildren, Ian Bell, Elden Milam, and Taya Milam. She is also survived by sisters Wanda Keith, Janice (Lynn) Murray, Kathy (Rick) Pavol, and Paula (Danny) Atchison She was preceded in death by her grandson, Keith Milam; her parents; and her brothers, Johnny and Robert Richardson.

After moving to Colorado at a young age, she grew up in Pueblo where she met Elliott who was the love of her life for 64 years. They were longtime members of Lynn Gardens Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher, treasurer, on the hostess committee, and sang in the choir. She never hesitated to open her home for missionaries or visitors of the church. She was known for her welcoming spirit and home cooked meals.

Glenda worked for Sangray Corporation as office manager and accountant for 26 years.

She enjoyed her retirement by spending time with family and friends. However, one of her greatest joys was being a grandma and spoiling her grandchildren. She was known for having an endless supply of M&M cookies, and weekend sleepovers at Grandma’s where the candy train always visited.

Celebration services will be June 4th, 2021 at Family Worship Center, Pueblo Colorado, at 1pm.
