Glenda L. Wright, 83, passed away on June 25, 2021, at her home in Boone, Colo. following her late husband of 55 years, Burton L. Wright. She is survived by her children, Terril L. Irvine and Martyn of Pueblo, Ronda L. Knowlton of Boone and Sandy L. Artichoker and Ben of Avondale; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Sharon A. Gibson of Boone. Glenda was born November 9, 1937, in Potosi, Mo. and moved to Colorado as a young woman with her parents and siblings. She met Burton in Pueblo, they married and began raising their three young daughters. Glenda was at her husband’s side as he participated in rodeo, bred Quarter horses for racing and raised cattle on their ranch in Boone. They enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with their family and friends at their mountain ranch in Powderhorn, Colo. Glenda will always be remembered for her beauty, charm and quick wit. She will be missed as a mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. May she rejoice in heaven and watch over those who she left behind. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Private interment, Wright Ranch in Hinsdale County, Colo.
